Cultural Sensitivity Awareness

Symbolism and Imagery: It's important to recognize that certain symbols and images can hold diverse meanings across different cultures. Designers should be sensitive to these cultural interpretations to avoid unintentional misunderstandings.

Color Considerations: Colors can carry significant cultural meanings that vary between societies. Understanding these cultural associations can help designers make choices that resonate appropriately

PROJECT 1 - PROPOSAL

wee held a meeting at library and we talking about "cultural sensitivity in design"  The goal is to present this cultural aspect authentically while raising awareness among viewers So, we tossed around some ideas, and in the end, we settled on doing Cinco de Mayo. Split into two teams – one for doodling up the design, and the other for putting together the report and presentation

Project 2

we continued with our data collection after we did our proposal. We mostly used online research, such as survey, collecting online materials, interviewing via Zoom, etc.

Here is our final outcome for data collection

Project 3- Final Project

we thought it would be cool to give a modern design to a Cinco de Mayo celebration. We decided to making a heart-shaped piñata, and then we went all out with colorful decorations to make it really pop and stand out
