i dont participate in class because i got covid

2.INSTRUCTION

3.TASK 3:Type Design & Communication

1.sketch(o d h n g)

firstly we were asked to sketch letter odhng with 3 different tip marker

after that i submitted to my lecturer and my lecturer asked me what is the most i like, afterwards i chose calligraphy pen

so before i start digitize my font i sketch my font first

3.digitization

after i digitize my font i moved to font lab and export all to font lab

after i export my all font i adjust the kerning so it doesnt look weird because of the spacing

and finaly i made a poster using my font, But i think i need to revise because of the sentence

5.reflection

5.1 experiences

for me its a bit difficult because its my first time making my own font especially sketches its hard to sketch with 33 diffrent marker

5.2 observation

As I sketch , I couldn't help but notice how each pen stroke gave the typeface its own style. Sketching over and over again made me really get the feel for the letters and how they shape the design,and its easier digitize with adobe illustrator rather than physical sketch

5.3 findings

so before i learn about making font i even dont know what is baseline,ascender and descender and its quit important to making font and now i have feel to design a font
